APVMA Scholarships 2025
Scholarships are open!

All scholarship applications  have a 500 word count maximum. Please click the link to the google form below to apply.

Scholarship Application - Google Forms


KLMDVM Consulting- $100
This scholarship is designed to support aspiring veterinarians committed to fostering inclusivity and accessibility within veterinary medicine. This scholarship aims to empower students from underrepresented backgrounds or those actively working to advance DEI initiatives in animal healthcare.

Applicants should demonstrate a passion for promoting diversity in veterinary medicine through leadership, advocacy, mentorship, or research. Candidates may be evaluated based on their involvement in DEI-related efforts and vision for creating a more inclusive veterinary profession.
Wild Inside Adventures- $150
This scholarship supports students passionate about wildlife conservation, exotic animal medicine, and environmental stewardship. It’s designed for individuals dedicated to protecting and caring for wild animals through veterinary medicine, research, rehabilitation, or education.

Applicants should demonstrate a commitment to wildlife and exotic animal care through academic pursuits, hands-on experience, or community involvement. Preference may be given to those who have participated in fieldwork, conservation initiatives, or educational outreach that promotes the welfare of wild species.

C.E.L.A Belize-$375
The Center for Engaged Learning Abroad, CELA Belize, sponsors one scholarship for APVMA members for $375 off the cost of a course or program (virtual or travel).

CELA Belize offers study abroad options in Belize for pre-vet students in January and throughout the summer. Programs include wildlife, large animal veterinary medicine, and marine bio and conservation. College credit is available for these programs.

Applicants should demonstrate a strong commitment to veterinary medicine, conservation efforts, and leadership in international animal care.
Loop Abroad-$375
Loop Abroad sponsors one scholarship for APVMA members for $375 off the cost of a course or program (virtual or travel).

Loop Abroad is a student travel organization that began with a singular mission: provide the best hands-on study abroad for students pursuing careers working with animals.

Applicants should demonstrate a commitment to veterinary medicine, conservation, and global engagement. They should show a dedication to experiential learning, cross-cultural collaboration, and ethical animal care.

AAVMC-$1000
This scholarship supports pre-veterinary students who demonstrate a commitment to leadership, business acumen, and advancing the veterinary profession through innovation and entrepreneurship.

Applicants should exhibit leadership experience in student organizations, business ventures, or initiatives that improve efficiency, accessibility, or sustainability within the veterinary field. Preference may be given to students with experience in veterinary business management, policy advocacy, or entrepreneurial endeavors aimed at transforming animal healthcare.
